Monthly Modeling Assignment

April

What to model: Something Easter themed.

Details: April is the month of Easter (and new autodesk releases), so model anything Easter themed like bunnies, flowers, chocolate.

The Easter edition of the Friday pictures will be on the 19th of April.

Please use Inventor to model and feel free to share your part or assembly.

(remember to attach all files if you do, or share as a neutral STEP file)

Hey Everyone, it's the end of the week again and the weather is promising a very nice weekend here. Smiley Very Happy

Bit busy this week, had to make a weldment assembly which i started rendering for fun.

The image isn't that great as i didn't have enough time to really work out my textures in 3DS Max.

I tried incorporating the single axis noise trick i figured out, which does work but it didn't turn out that great.

The look of the top of the metal plates is what i'm most pleased with, the weldment texture is also nice but the welds are just so very "clean" and straight...

Great for detailing on drawings, not so much for realistic rendering. Smiley Tongue

So basically a work in progress, though i doubt i'll finish it.

What is keeping you all busy at the moment? Smiley Happy

Hi All,

Been a long time since I've been on the forum, had a lot of work to keep my busy.

Here is a lifestyle render of a sleek clip on phone stand I designed recently and am going to print on my new 3D printer. Everything has been modeled and rendered in Inventor 2017.
