It's a dreary, gray Friday where i am, so let's post some pictures to brighten the day a bit.
I designed a little (tiny, perhaps) tubeclamp that i 3D printed... but i guess i did stuff wrong on all departments.
I forgot to model in tolerances, didn't realize how tiny it was and made screw threads that are way too fine, added some expansion settings in my slicer to clear some wall thickness settings not realizing the consequences of doing that, placed the 2 halves too close together so i had massive stringing between them...
Yeah, i could've done better... but still amazed at the print result with those tiny tiny threads.
(they didn't fit because of the expansion, but i believe they would've worked otherwise.)
The filament had some issues as well, think i need to dry it, but that's for the next attempt.
Anyway, here is a raytrace and a photo of what i tried to make, to give an idea of size: the inner diameter was 9,5mm.
(like the fact that the selected solid shows up in the saved image.)
What's keeping you all busy?
Share if you can!
