Frame Generator Updates

A few times I updated my sketch dimensions (only) and the frame generator parts don't update according to the new dimension.  Why would this be happening?

@SteveFrey

This is not uncommon, though I don't know why it happens. (nudge nudge IV team.  LOL)  What I used to do was try Rebuild All, at every level of the assembly until it worked... and in rare instances, it still wouldn't update.  When that happened I was forced to replace the frame members that would not play ball.

So, long winded way of saying try Rebuild All, and let us know if it works.  🙂

Everything Mr Benner says and earlier this week I had to restart Inventor to get the frame to update.

Weird thing is components constrained to the frame member would move to the right location just not the frame member. LOL

I got it to work.  I tried rebuild all but that never does anything.  I closed the assembly, etc. and re-opened them and it seemed to fix itself.  I hate replacing frame members.

Steve, I'm glad you got it working.  This is one of those annoying things that are impossible to reproduce reliably, so the IV team really can't do much about it.  And the fix never seems to be quite the same, but NO ONE likes replacing frame members.  😲 😂
