Hi there,
For a better reading of your message I would suggest you turn of caps.

The part is correct for a FlatPattern. Two things, you have made is now of 4 independent plate's, there is no connection between them.
Second, a part like this is not able to make a FlatPattern, there are 2 bends across another.

You have to make another Corner Seam. (the cyan line)

cornerseam.JPG

And then a cut (extrusion 0.2mm width, red line)

Then it would work.

Hello,

I tried to attach an .iges file. But wouldn't let me for some reason. Could you try a lofted flange and place a rip in it?

For me with Inventor 2017 it was o problem te make.

You first have to make it as one metal.
I have it as a correct 2017 file, if you like i can send it.

Hello,

You're welcome. Just copy what I did. Then you should be fine. If you get stuck just ask.
