Flat Pattern does not show cut out with bends

Hi experts

How to make a flat pattern with a cut out and bend as shown in file attached. Outside bends shown in flat pattern but the cut out did not show.

Also in reality is it possible to bend metal for the cut out like this with straight gaps in all corners?

This is geometrically impossible.

You can only have it one way or the other. But not both. That type of a design will require minimum of two parts and some welding to build it in real life. Unless it is stamped out. Yet it is possible to model the item as one piece using Sheet Metal module in Inventor.
