I am using Inventor 2009 and apparently the translator add-ins are part of the 2009 package. I have installed the feature recognition application available from labs.autodesk which should make it possible to open other formats like solidworks and pro-engineer and be able to recognize features like holes chamfers exc. so that you can modify it in Inventor. For some reason when I open a solidworks part in Inventor, the feature recognition window pops up and after selecting yes for activation it gives me the following error message -
Import SolidWorks File: problems encountered while executing this command. Attempting to end an invalid transaction.
Do anyone know why it does this?
