FEA report missing images

FEA .html report looks for .BMP images. But while creating the report .PNG images are saved on disk. So the report is missing some images (not all images are missing)

(I'm using IV 2021.1 build 245 with Windows-10-64, build 120.2212.31.0)

The report looks for .PNG images, but .BMP images are created.  It appears to be a security issue within windows.

Maybe this is a solution: see thread https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/can-t-export-results-from-design-accelerator/m-p/92454...

I have copied the design data content from the standard install-location to the custom location where my templates are.

The solution was not clear to me and I had to search for the correct files to copy.  I copied the following directory:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2021\Design Data\Simulation\Report\

to

<My custom Design data folder>\Simulation\Report\

I updated from Inventor 2018 to 2021. The only file that changed is:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2021\Design Data\Simulation\Report\Configuration.htm

For me that is the only file that I needed to copy.

I am getting this too regardless of the format i save the report in. The first 2 or three images are there but the rest are missing.

Here is also an example. Missing pictures are: Von Misses stress, 1st and 3rd Principal stress, displacement and safetey factor. I have adde these files manually to the pdf.  So, the files exist but are not added to the .HTML file.

Why add them manually, they should be in the report.

That's exact the problem, they are not in the (HTML) report.

And not in the PDF or any of the other file formats.

The HTML contains links to .BMP pictures. But the the last five links looks for .PNG files.  The pictures are all created as .BMP files. Maybe it's a problem in Windows with the file-extensions.

So basically you are saying that the FEA reporting is broken.

Why would I want a pdf file.

How would I use that file to diagnose the issue?

Because that's where the issue is. There should be images in the PDF there are not. That is the issue.

I just created a sample file. I also created 3 types of report. .HTML, .MHTML and .RTF. All are wrong.
