Extrude / cut Help needed.

- Hey what is best way to make cut extrudes to that bottom board? same angle that they are in arc wood object.

Accepted solution

The easiest way (for me) was to make a 'Cutting Tool' (the size required), place that in the assembly and constrain in position, then import it as a solid Body into the base plate that needs cutting and use it as cutting tool - Combine-cut:

An other way is to work with adaptive parts, edit your parts inside the assembly, then project geometry needed to make your cut.

does adapive part mean that if you change it on assembly it effect too on part .ipt?

Can you make me some small video how it works. Would be great

Yes, all changes made on parts or assembly will be apply on adaptive parts.

Here a simple screencast.

Remember to be careful with these adaptive projected geometry.
