Hello, I was trying to create an iFeature with a pattern in it. This was working in July 2022 and when i searched it i found some youtube films from previous versions that worked.
I'm working with IV2023 latest update (2023.1.1).
Can anybody explain what went wrong? And more important how can this be fixed?
Hi! I don't think this is 2023.1.1 specific. The extraction failure is due to the fact that the pattern direction is based on a sketch. It seems that such pattern cannot be extracted. If it is based on a workaxis or an edge, the extraction will work. Please move EOP above the rectangular pattern feature. Create a workaxis based on the sketch. Then move EOP to the bottom. Edit the rectangular pattern -> select the workaxis as the direction instead.
After that, the features should be extractable.
