The size is wrong when I try to export 2d drawings and sketches/surfaces as DXF, PDF and DWG. I want to lasercut things I make, but size is always wrong. I have read all solutions here and other places, but nothing works. I have tried to open the exported files in lots of different vector programs like Adobe Illustrator and Coreldraw. Ex. a circle on 100mm in Inventor went to 35,278mm in Illustrator. I have checked all mm/inch options because 100/35 is almost mm/inch relationship, but its nothing wrong. I have tried to drag it throug True view, exportet as 2004 and 2007 dxf file versions, but nothing works. What is wrong?

Hi! Although I don't have a proof, I believe Illustrator misinterprets the dxf file. Check the Illustrator and see if there is a setting of import unit. It sounds like it defaults to inch or something not mm.
One quick test is to import the dxf file back to Inventor. Is the unit correct? If not, please share an example here so forum experts can take a look.
Many thanks!
I have had success with this process. Make sure the geometry is full scale before export. Double check the Illustrator input settings. It sounds like your Illustrator units are set to points instead of inches.
