Exporting coordinate systems and parameters to ANSYS Design Modeler

Hi,

I have tried with the options from the workbench (clicking on Geometry) but I cannot import any of them into Design Modeler.

Do you know exactly which are the options to at least import the coordinate system that I have created in inventor (for example to rotate a part) or do I have to prepare something in Inventor to do that?. I don't like to recreate that coordinate systems, but it seems to work.

And, the second question. Is it possible to export the parameters (dimensions) to Ansys?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

I have been trying to import an Inventor file to Ansys with the parameters included but haven't succesfully been able.

Did you find any solution?

Thank you.

Regards,

Daniel A

Hi! I guess you may want to go to ANSYS discussion forum and ask the question. It sounds like the behavior is more ANSYS related than Inventor related. Try google the question and see if there is any related discussion at ANSYS.

Many thanks!
