export sheet metal face as dxf issue

Hi all,

I'm trying to export a face as a dxf and it is showing as 2 different faces.

I've looked into the model and the edge is curved up when in flat pattern but seems to be modelled ok.

Has anyone come across this before? And, if so, what was your fix?

Hi

Don't use solid modeling tools where you can use sheet metal tools.

Remove Extrude and do a Cut in Normal mode in both directions.

Do you know why cut & extruded cut would give different results?

Yes. Make a copy of the file, go back to the old method and compare the results.
