Export .glb File needs Rotated

Hello Autodesk Community,

I am exporting an Inventor file as a .glb file to be used for the web. The .glb file defaults to a bad angle. The sample image below shows what the default looks like. You can't tell what it is unless you know to rotate it, which many users won't know to do. What do I need to change in Inventor so that this 3D object has a default preview that is rotated 90 degrees?

So far, I have experimented with re-assigning the "Set Current View as..." "Set Current View as Home..." but changing either of those settings has not made any difference. I still get the same default view as the sample image above.

Thanks for any help!

Hi! I guess you would like the Z-axis to point upward. Please take a look at the attached video and make the change in the files and the templates.

Hi Johnson,

Thank you for your response. I finally figured it out with some help from IMAGINiT. After trial and error, we figured out that the .glb export defaults to the XY plane. We went to 3D Model > Modify > Move Bodies and rotated everything around the Y Axis. Now it defaults to the correct view!
