Exploded View.

Hi.

Im making this big exploded View. I need to replace one part in the view for a new and updated version. How do i change a part in exploded view? As it is now im making a new exploded view from scratch on every new version of the assembly/exploded view.

Sorry for my bad english. I really hope somebody can help!

Thanks, RC.

You have to open the assembly iam,  then use the replace tool (Assemble Tab> Component group) and choose your new component.

Pay attention with the constraints, if the new shape component  change to much you could lose some constraint applied to the old 3d geometry.

Thanks for your answer 🙂

I know how to change a component in the assembly. The thing is that when im in exploded view and want update the mode, the change doesn't transfer when I make it a new version?

Hi!

You have to create presentations associative with the 3D model.

When selecting the 3D Model, go to "options" and select "Associative". This way , the presentation will update later to model changes.
