Educational account - Cannot download 2024 Remote Content Libraries

Hello,

I have run into an issue with the educational licence system which is preventing me from setting up a Vault server.

Downloading Vault Professional 2024 from the educational software page (https://www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software/overview) and registering the licence does not add the product to the "All Products and Services" page in my account. As far as I am aware, this is normal for the education licences - this was also the case when I set up a Vault server last year.

However, as Autodesk have changed the way the Remote Content Libraries are downloaded (these must now be downloaded from within the "All Products and Services" page), I cannot download these libraries. I have been in contact with Support about this issue to no avail.

Would it be possible to have a download link to these libraries emailed to me, or Vault Professional 2024 to be added to my account?

Why can't you use Desktop Content Libraries?

In the past I used Remote Content Libraries to make sure every user was pulling from a known identical version of the libraries. However, you're right, I probably can use the Desktop libraries without issue.
