Lofting

Hey all

I was wondering if there was a way to loft between  the 2 bronzish colored areas.

I know I can loft between 2 sketches that a solid, but this has a thin wall.

Make (2) sketches on each inner face, projecting the outer profile of one bronze piece to one sketch, then do the same for the other.

Then make a loft from one sketch profile to the other. It will make a full solid.

Then use the Shell command and select the sides to remove the faces and set the thickness.

Lofting from solid faces gives much more functionality than lofting from sketches.

Hi! For face loop selection in Loft, Inventor only supports single loop profile. Multiple-loop profile is not allowed. You will probably need to create two Lofts. One is from the outer edges as Join and the other one is the inner edges as Cut.
