Drawings: Moving text with Surface finish symbol or eventually other symbols

Good morning fellow Inventor users,

I wonder if there is a way I can join my surface finish symbol to the text, so when I move the text the symbol will move with it. Atm. I have to move them separate.

Maybe a silly question but it is really annoying.

Create a sketch symbol for the text and add a surface texture symbol to that. You will have to draw it manually but there isn't much to it.

If I do what you suggest and I understand you right, changing the text will be more complicated because I have to change the symbol. Correct?
I was hoping for something like Solidworks has as in while editing the text selecting the symbol so it is included in the text.

I don't think so - see attached symbol panel in general text (it's also not a ascii character):

And yes you will have to edit the definition then edit the text, then exit the definition so a few more mouse clicks. Alternatively you could just write surface finish:

Yes you are right, I could just write surface finish... didn't think of that but I will have a go at what you suggested.
