Drawing Views - Not reflecting actual geometry

Hello Community,

 

We are using Inventor Professional 2022 and are updated to the latest patch. One of our users @pon.vijay is having an issue with his drawing views. The drawing view seems to not reflect the actual geometry of the model and has missing lines. Kindly refer attached image.

 

He has tried a few workarounds including creating a new drawing. Nothing seems to work. Other users have been able to reproduce the issue in their systems as well. Hoping that the community will give us a fix for this.

Take a look at the properties for your view.

Check to see what boxes are checked. Content center parts for some unknown reason get treated differently. You have to specify if you want them to be included in a section.

 

Take a good look at your setting for the view, problem may be there

Show me the component screen of that dialog box if you use view representations.

Hi, you have to check next 3 options:
1. Application Option

Give this a try from the edit view dialog box:

Associate View Representation is a must to or added components may not show up.

Hi! Another possibility is that some component geometry may have quality issues. Go to C: drive and create "Temp" folder. Then in Inventor, open the assembly -> press Ctrl+F7. Does the dialog report any bad body? If yes, you may need to go through Repair Bodies workflow to fix up the badness.
