Drawing Representation not correct

I am using Inventor 2019.  If I select the representation in my model, the model shows the correct representation of my assembly. However, when I add a view to my drawing and select the same representation, I get an extra part in my view.  Any suggestions?

Are you talking about a LOD, View, or Positional representation?

I tried that but it did not change anything.  All I want is the bracket.  The model shows the bracket only but the view adds in a second bracket.  To fix it, I had to select the view from the drawing tree and turn the visibility off of the second bracket.

If you were able to do that in the drawing (select the bracket and turn off visibility), then your drawing view is not associatively linked to the model View Rep.  Edit your drawing view and check the Associative (link) box, OK.  Now the model view rep controls the visibility, and you are no longer able to change it in the drawing.

Hi! The behavior does not sound right to me. It could be Design View corruption or bad bodies exclusion or pre-existing interference. Please share the files here so form experts can take a look further.

Many thanks!
