Dock model browser on left

How do you dock the model browser on the left? Accidentally moved it wont go back

Drag it by the bar at the top as hard to the left as you can then release. If using several monitors place inventor on the far left screen first I guess

Mmm I'm using inventor 2021.1 and it does for me.. What version are you using?

What specifically isn't working? 

You can't move it at all? 

Its just not "locking" into place?

Are you running dual monitors?

What version of Inventor are you using?

Have you installed all updates?

Have you tried the Inventor Reset Utility?

Hi! Like experts had mentioned, it should work. Something was wrong with some settings. Try this real quick. Go to All Programs -> Autodesk -> Inventor 20xx -> Tools -> Inventor Reset Utility. Reset all settings back to install default.

Does it work now?

@johnsonshiue Double-click the top of the side browser and it will dock.

 

Can the side browser be "pinned", "grounded", or "nailed" in position so I don't continue to accidentally undock? Thank you.

I am sorry I am not aware of a setting to ground the browser. It is always dockable.

Try: View --> Reset UI Layout
