Hi

What dimensions do you want to include?

That's my problem, I don't know what dimensions to include. If it was a basic slot that would be easy. I have attached another photo, are the details I have shown enough/correct?

You have closed the dimension chain several times, which is unacceptable in a technical machine drawing:

  1. You need to remove one dimension of 17.5 and add the dimension of the entire length.
  2. R5 and 10 are the same information - cannot be repeated.
  3. 20 and 25 are the same information - they cannot appear together.
  4. In the cross-section, the angular dimension is sufficient.

In addition:

  1. The groove is non-technological - it cannot be made with a fi10 milling cutter.

Thank You for that explanation. I know some of the dimensions are repeated, missing some. My main problem was understanding that the angular dimension was the important one.

Its OK for this to be non-technological, it was a test part for my own education.

Again, thank you for the quick response.
