hello all

I just wanna say first I hope all of you are well and safe

while we all go thru this terrible ordeal.

I would like to know if on a idw with different parts associated to it

on separate sheets (which I know it can be done) can you have different

names and p/n in the title blox of each separate sheet?

does each sheet have its own iproperties.ive tried unsucessfully

but im sure there are people who know a lot more than i.

You can make as many sheets as you'd like.

With ever sheet you make, if you want to use a different title block, just right click on your TB in the tree on the page you want to change, delete it, and then open up your "drawing resources" folder at the top of the tree, Right click on the one you want, and click insert.

Now you have two sheets with different Title blocks and whatever part you put on the second sheet it should take your part number.

Depending on how it's set up .. the first (base view) on that sheet dictates the Part Number for that title block on that sheet.

We use to do this all the time.    Just making sure you know what you want for the first part number if more than one is on the sheet.

If you set up your titleblock to pull information from the drawing iprops, each sheet will have the same information.

If you set up your titleblock to pull information from the CAD model (ipt/ipn/iam), then each sheet will show the iprops from the model shown in the first drawing view placed on that sheet.

Hi! You will need to edit the title block definition and edit the text -> insert Model Properties -> Part Number. There should be videos showing you how to do it. Here is the link to the Help.

If you cannot figure it out, please share an example here so forum experts can take a look.

Many thanks!
