Detail-view boundary visibility

Is there a setting to switch of the detail view boundary by default. I do not always want to show a boudary around my views? It takes to long to have to select each line section of the boundary on the .idw and put the visibility of.

Don't know if you can make this default, don't think so but...

If you right click on the detail and select "edit view", then go to display options and uncheck "defenition in base view" the detail boundary should dissappear.

Hope that helps.

I tried it, but it does not help. Does nothing to the boundary if you switch 'the definition in base view' or the 'style from base'.

Thanks anyway.

I just realised that you might be trying to edit the cutting lines in the actual detail.

(i had the detail circle in the base view in mind...)

You could try setting up your styles in a way that those detail lines are on their own layer and then make that layer invisible...

I'm still just guessing a bit here, let me know if i'm still missing the point...

Yes, I was actually talking about the boundary lines in the actual view created and not the view circle on the part.
Not quite sure how the layers work but will try and figure it out.

Thanks

Set your object defaults to draw the detail view
boundary on an invisible layer?
