Hi, I want to design clothes and produce these. I want to do this in any suitable program of autodesk.

I do not know if Inventor is the right program to do this?
I was talking to an old man who said Fusion 360 might be an option.

So I wonder what program do you recommend?

Both Inventor and Fusion are really horrible choices for clothing design.. They are both really targeted towards electro-mechanical design..

I think you misunderstood when you heard Autodesk they probably said Adobe..

Adobe Illustrator,etc... would be a far better suggestion vs any product that Autodesk has.. all though some of the 3ds max programs,etc.. I suppose "could" be used to design clothes but I doubt that any of the Autodesk software is really prevalent in the fashion industry..

Hello @BenevolentAppearance unless you make your clothing as a sheet metal part to create a flat pattern for cutting out the fabric, you might find some difficulty using Inventor for clothing design.

You might be able to use the Freeform tools to some degree of success, but you'll probably find other programs better suited for the task.

Here are a few links that might help point you in the right direction:

Fusion360: Making a Custom-Fit Ironman Suit

Fusion360: Integration of Textiles

Maya: Sculpting clothes

Sketchbook: How to draw clothes

3dsMax: Creating a Costume out of Cloth

3dsMax: Cloth and Garment Overview

3dsMax: Draw the Patterns for the Clothes

There are many third party programs dedicated to clothing and textile design depending on what you are trying to achieve.

Hope that helps!
