Design Checker

We use the Design Checker (as a test) on the new designs.It keeps the basic modelstandards throughout the design phase.

One question:

For the components that have not initially been designed with the Design Checker; Is it possible to have the Design Checker iterate through an entire assembly (assembly prior to the implementation of the Design Checker) and give the checker results for the assembly components? The only result that we get for these assemblies/components/parts is "No Design Checter Results". Then we need to open each individual part in the assembly to run the Check.

Any suggestions?

If so you may not get an answer here since others may not have this installed and don't know what you are referring to.   Have you contacted Autodesk about this?

Hi Kári,

Currently the Design Checker is not able to generate the result reports for all the assembly components, unless you open them each and run the Design Checker to generate the result manually. But I will add this as a requirement for future enhancement. Thanks for your feedback.
