Custom color appearance

Hi Team,

 

Please see attached image. I created a custom color for both with same rgb number, why it looks differently?

Different lighting styles.

Lighting can have a drastic effect on how appearances look. 

Go to view tab.. and make sure each file has the same lighting style set in this dropdown..

Or wait.. Are you talking about the clamp and the metal channel?

If so it looks like you might have different appearance "highlights/glossy" specs or different appearance types on those 2 parts..

As stated posting both parts here should allow us to spot the differences pretty easily.

Hi,

 

It is possible that you have two different appearances/materials on the different parts, this can make them appear different even if you use the same colour on both. 

 

Check at the top of your screen for the items you want coloured the same and make sure they have the same appearance

I don't think there is any way for any of us to give a diagnosis with complete confidence without seeing the files themselves.  Zip them up and post them here.
