Creating hull but ignoring some solid ?

philippegueorguievskii_1-1587429594324.png

Hi everyone !

So I've got myself those two shapes, and I want to make a hull out of the big one while ignoring the small one so it looks like this :

in the inside. I tried :

- doing something with this little thingy :

but it tells me there should be at least 2 solids.

- doing something with that little thingy :

But I can't select any surface or tool. Is there any easy whay to do something like that ?

Thanks in advance !

See Attached file.

You should fully define your sketches.

Still gives me something like this:

philippegueorguievskii_0-1587484508390.png

Or this :

when I try to "empty it out"

Instead of this :

I get this :

Hi! There are several ways to do that. One way is to create the features in a different order. You can delete the boxy extrusion and create shell first. Then add the extrusion.

Another way is to use Delete Face feature (check Heal option) -> pick the inner shelled faces of the boxy extrusion.

Many thanks!
