Creating Hole in model is not working

Hi,

I'm trying to create Hole in model, but its not working.

when i click hole, in preview it shows the hole in model,
but when i click ok, the hole is not getting created.

I have attached the model for your reference,
can anyone help me, what needs to be done to create hole in my model.

I am sure this problem is with some files only, 
because when i create hole in another .ipt file, hole is getting created.

Restart Inventor.

I have restarted the inventor and tried creating the hole, it still not getting created.
it showing this error below

For your information i am using Inventor professional 2020,

can you please help me, what need to be done to achieve the result.

Hi

Verify that reversing the hole direction works.
See if you can clear all selections and define everything from scratch.
Make sure you have the latest Inventor updates and fixes.
Delete the sketch and draw a new one.

Everything works for me.

I, too, have no problem creating this hole in your part using Inventor 2020.5.4.

I've attached a different way to create this part, also in 2020.5.4.  I didn't create all the workplanes and workpoints, however.

Hi! It looks like you are on the original Inventor 2020.0 release. I vaguely remember there was a bug preventing the hole from being created depending on your last used options. Please make sure 2020.5 update is installed followed by 2020.5.4 update.

In the meantime, you may click on the gear button at the upper right corner in the Hole panel -> select "No Preset" at the bottom.

Redefine the Hole sketch to Origin XZ plane. Use symmetrical option for the hole creation.
But I would redesign the model completely. Or, at least - got rid of all the work geometry.

Finally Upgrading inventor from 2020.0 to 2020.5.4 resolved my issue,

Actually i have hundreds of models similarly like that, so i can't redraw all the models.
