Transitional Constraint issue

Hi 

I am having issues with creating a transitional constraint between a cam roller and a linear cam.   I've read various solutions which refer to the creation of a zero offset surface and a small surface sphere.  I am however seemingly unable to select said surfaces when the Transitional constraint dialogue box is active.    I am assuming that I am doing something silly but cannot for the life of me work out what that may be.

It's very hard to find a solution based on the description.

Hi! Yes, I am the one identified the technique of using zero-offset surface. It does help in some cases. But, if the geometry has its own quality issues or there are multiple transitional constraints to be solved at the same time, the technique may not help.

Please share the files here. The forum experts and I can take a look to see if there is a better workflow.
