Hey, Im wondering is this possible to adapt a step file in to ipt with inventor's features?

I mean, like in solid works, when you can change a dumb solid in to a model which is calculated by solid into similar thing by doing solid's features, after this u are getting your model with a design history

can we do it?

What you are looking for in Solidworks was called "Featureworks".

In Inventor they have an add on called feature recognition.

See this link.

Autodesk has a subscription app that should do feature recognition: https://apps.autodesk.com/INVNTOR/en/Detail/Index?id=9172877436288348979&appLang=en&os=Win32_64

I've never used it, so I don't know if it will work in your case.

Otherwise, I'd use the direct editing tools, or model from scratch.
