complete contour roll...

I'm either having a moment or I simply don't know how to do it.  I suspect a little of both.  I have a completely closed contour rolled barrel and wish to create a flat pattern. Please indulge me and tell me how to do this.  I am using IV 2022.  Thanks

You cannot generate a flat pattern from a closed roll. You will have to add a seam/rip somewhere.

Contour roll wont allow you to do a 360 roll angle? Did you happen to do a thickened surface or a revolved cross sectional profile instead?
