Hello,

After launching a new project, is there any kind of command for changing the path to content center libraries?

I don't believe that you can change the location of content center libraries per project.  That location is either in Vault or specified by Application Options.

On the other hand, you can specify the location of Content Center generated files for each project.  Which are you trying to do?

To change the path to Content Center library, you will need to change the Application Option.  If it will be different for different projects, you will need to make that change each time you change projects.

Can you explain why you want to do this?  Content Center contains multiple libraries, so if you need a different library, simply add it.  The project file (.ipj) specifies which libraries are available to that project, but assumes that all libraries are located in the same place (the place defined in Application Options).

Hi! Like Sam mentioned, there are two CC paths to set in Inventor. The library definition idcl files are stored in a path, set in Application Options -> CC. The physical CC ipt files are stored in "Content Center" path, set in Project settings. Go to Project dialog -> Folder Options.

Which one are you trying to change?

Many thanks!

Thnaks for the information. Actually i am going through some inventor test, I found this question very interesting. The actual question was :

After Launching a new project :

What command is used to change the path of the content center libraries?

There's no command.  The path of content center library is controlled by Tools/Application Options/Content center tab.  Irs not project specific.  Now if you're looking to control what content center libraries you see under your Inventor project/model, then in the project file (or editor), the lower right hand corner icon is the configuration.  Select that icon and libraries that you want to display in your project.

If this doesn't answer your question, I would have to ask why do you need to change the library path to content center for every project?

Hi! Do you mind elaborating what you meant by Content Center Libraries? Do you mean the actual CC part ipt files? Or you mean the CC library definition idcl files?

Many thanks!
