Another annoying thing in Inventor 2017. There is no automatic change drill depth after you changed thread depth with blind hole.
It works in 2015 and 2016 and it was great function. If you needed shorter hole, you just changed it after you changed drill depth.
Any idea is it possible to change something in xml table to get this function back?

I'm struggling with the same problem. I compared my modified thread.xlsx spreadsheet with the original one, but I can't find any differences. If someone could tell us how we can solve this....
Hi all,
I'll try to give you some explanation .....
As a result to this Article , users were complaining about this automatic change of the hole depth, this behavior has been taken out of this function. Now each time you change the size of the thread, the two values adjust but they are not dependent. Each value can be edited manually.
I'm afraid this is final for now. Feel free to use our Inventor Ideastation for any other suggestions.

I spent few hours with this problem and found on forums what was problem.
Problem wasn't this function (like it is mentioned in this article), but that, this function doesn't work correct in 2015 with imperial units.
With imperial, you wasn't able to change drill depth independet of thread depth, but with metric it worked fine and it was very usefull, so please repair bugs, don't remove functions.
@Anonymous
I could understand and reproduce your issue.
And as @Sofia.Xanthopoulou mentioned that this function are logged as a Incident Id: 87842 by a customer. Those customer need "it should stick to the user parameter value defined."
So that's why this function are "removed" from 2017 version.
I think the best way is create an option in inventor, that let the customer decided change the the drill depth automatic or not.
But now, My only suggestion is to log this suggestion with the idea station for future consideration.
