Changing dimensions from decimals to fractions

I am trying to apply dimensions to an assembly to be displayed in fractions. These are the steps that I went through:

  1. Placed in the individual parts needed for the assembly
  2. Went to the Styles Editor
  3. Dimensions then Default-Fraction (ANSI)
  4. Changed format to Fraction (Diagonal)
  5. Changed Percision to 1/32
  6. Right clicked Save then Done
  7. Clicked Update and Purge
  8. Placed a dimension and it was still a decimal

All parts are in a isometric view and I am using Inventor Professional 2011

These are directions in the Help. What am I missing?

In the styles editor menu tree on the left.  Object defaults.  Once you create a style you assign that style to whatever types of annotations you want it on.  That way you can have (for example) one dimension style for all your linear dimensions, and a different one for radius dimensions... etc.  Most people would not do that, but IV gives you that flexibility.
