Changing content center size in model state

I have an piece of structural angle from the content center in an assembly. How do i change the size of the angle without changing it in all the other model states? The only way I can achieve the change is to modify the parameters within the part for that model state, which is too complicated and error prone for some of the users at my company. Any easier ways out there?

Are  you referring to something different than just RMB on that member and doing the "Change Size "?

I miss read that. The change size function in the RMB only changes in the master model state not any other model state. I have to go in an manually change it in the parameters of the sub model state to get the part to change.

Im not sure then, I don't use structural content, I made my own that is iparts and iLogic parts, so I can change each part placed to any other size without effects all others.

Hi! I believe you are attempting an unsupported workflow. Assembly Model State cannot directly drive subcomponent size. You will need to create Model States within the subassembly and its parts. However, Cable&Harness, Frame Gen, and Tube&Pipe subassembly does not support non-Master Model State. Only Master is allowed.

I think you still need to use Copy Design workflow to replicate the model and generate a different design.

Many thanks!
