See here in your style/standard library..
Do you know how to properly make changes to the standards? in your template files,etc...?
Hi @Anonymous,
Welcome to the forum.
mcgyvr beat me to it, but since I had it typed out, see these steps to go along with his reply:
From a drawing file go to the Manage tab > Styles Editor button, then in the resulting dialog box, select the active standard at the top of the left pane, then the View Preferences tab in the right tab
I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

Ah, yes thank you. I had a look in that exact menu but I didn't see it. I changed it and clicked "save and close," but it didn't change anything. I tried pressing update styles, nothing.
I tried closing the drawing and opening it again, still nothing.
Hi! Yes, the line type is controlled by the layer. You can either change on a per thread basis or you can change the default layer to threads.
For per thread change, select the thread in the drawing view and go to Annotate tab -> go to far right and change it to a different layer.
For entire drawing or standard, go to Manage -> Style Editor -> select the active standard -> Object Default -> click on the pencil button -> find Thread Line object -> select a different default layer. You can also create a new layer and assign a new linetype and then select it for Thread Line object.
Many thanks!
Thanks, I had a look in that same menu but didn't see it somehow.
I did that and clicked save and close but it didn't work! I tried exiting and opening Inventor and still nothing. Do I have to somehow update it? Or delete the view and make a new one?
