Hi! Inventor is an app running on Microsoft Windows. It is not a native app on Mac. We do have users running Inventor on Mac using emulated environment. Please take a look at the following page. It contains the system requirement for Mac.

Many thanks!

I run Inventor on both Boot Camp as well as Parallels. Boot Camp is slightly faster as it's a true Windows environment. Using Parallels is much quick to access Inventor as it runs within a virtual Windows environment that doesn't require rebooting your system from either the Mac environment or WIndows environment.

Hi @Anonymous,

Yes, as @blair said, you can run it with boot camp and it works pretty well so far in my Macbook pro.

Thanks

Is there any future for Inventor possibly running on Mac. I use Bootcamp only to use Revit and Inventor. I would love to eliminate the need to use Bootcamp. I have Autocad and Fusion 360 on Mac, why can't Inventor and Revit be?

Hi! I have not heard of a plan to release a Mac version of Inventor at the moment. I guess the paid user base is not large enough. Also, supporting Mac isn't free. It requires significant planning and investment to make it happen.

Many thanks!

Hi! I am not aware of a plan to support Inventor on Mac natively in the near term. Fusion 360 does support Mac natively. You may want to try it out.

Many thanks!
