CC shoulder screw error (part doesn't match description)

I have damper assy with approx. (75) 5/16 dia x 1"L shoulder screws holding damper blades to hinges.

The problem is the library has a gap between 3/4"L and 1"L...the thickness of materials was 7/8" (which is a readily available size...McMaster Carr...Fastenal, etc) and that's the length of shoulder CC inserted visually...appearing the correct fit, yet the CC data defaulted up to the next size in the table so they're all too long by 1/8"

Now we're stacking washers under the screw head to avoid dedicating new fasteners...is there a way to avoid this other than double checking everything the CC inserts?

It sounds like you are using the auto-drop feature of content center.  When you adjust the length, the increments are solely based on the length that are defined in Content Center.  So what look okay to you was the length that it selected.  It doesn't just pick random lengths..  It can only build off what it sees in the content center.

Not sure how that makes it acceptable to have a 7/8" long shoulder show up with 1"L long shoulder table data?
