What if you click Options when Save As?

You can use iLogic to do this.

Trigger the rule just before save.

Keep your drawing as the most recent version, but every time you save export a 2013 version to another location.

This thread shows how to save to an older version, you can cut out the code that is adding a suffix unless you want to add -2013 to the filename.

Trigger the rule just before save.

Hi! When you export Inventor drawing to AutoCAD, it is no longer associative. The dwg file becomes static.

Two workflows you may consider to keep the association. If you have access to AutoCAD (same release or later release as Inventor), you can use VIEWBASE command to create associative drawing views to Inventor components and still save the dwg file in AutoCAD 2013 format.

Another option is to leverage Inventor dwg file. Go to Inventor -> Tools -> App Options -> Drawing -> Inventor dwg version -> select AutoCAD 2013. Or, you can use an AutoCAD 2013 dwg file as a template to start Inventor drawing.

The dwg file will be in AutoCAD 2013 format.

Many thanks!
