Hi,

Can someone please help me. I can't extrude a sketch and I am going nuts over it. I know there is something simple I am missing.

I have attached the file and am trying to extrude "Sketch7".

You need to convert your excess lines to construction lines, sketch is also not fully constrained. Get rid of the sketches you did not use Inventor keeps picking them.

besides the lack of proper techniques (which are REALLY the problem)..

I can extrude the sketch.. But Inventor defaults to selecting a different profile.. simply using select other allows that profile to be selected...

But you wouldn't have that problem if you didn't have others 🙂

In the browser right click on Sketch2 and Sketch3 and turn off Visibility.
