Bugs with frame lengths - Inventor Pro 2025

Hello everyone,

I'm having bugs with updating frame lengths.

I have a sketch from which I created a frame.

I then positioned clamps and adjusted my frames in the assembly section.

After that, I modified my sketch again and the update no longer works...

So I have to delete my length adjustment and redo it to get the correct length.

Is there a way to make this update work correctly?

Thank you in advance and have a nice day!

Hi! I vaguely remember this was a known bug, which had been fixed in one of the 2025 updates. Please install 2025.3.1 update and retry the workflow.

Many thanks!

Hello,

I installed update 2025.3.1, but it didn't resolve my issue.

As I am short on time, I manually modified each length in the sketch (-10mm for example), updated the assembly, deleted the previous modification (+10mm), and returned to the assembly. After that, the frame name matched the actual length of the frame.

It is likely that Inventor version 2026 has resolved this issue, but I am unable to try it. I must remain on version 2025.

Have a nice day!

Hi! If possible, please share the Inventor files in zip with me directly at [email protected]. I can follow up with the project team to understand the issue better.

Many thanks!

Hello,

Unfortunately, I can't share this file with you, and I can't reproduce it on another assembly...

If I manage to do so, I'll be sure to send it to you.

Have a nice day !
