Is there a way to group parts in the BOM that need to show like a expanded subassembly with out creating a subassembly? I don't want to make them a subassembly because I need the freedom to be able to move them as individual parts but our purchasing group wants to order certain parts as kits. So I would like them to show the parent part number of the order kit and then the individual parts under that so they can see what the kit includes. And there could be more then one order kit in each subassembly depending on where the parts are purchased.
For example. I have created a BOM in the attachment. Part number 1000 would just be the order number. There would be no actual subassembly because I need to be able to manipulate each of the parts below it as individuals in the weldment. It needs to be included though so it can be called up in our ordering system.

Make them a subassembly and when you place it into an assembly check "flexible".. Then each piece can move..
Thats the correct way to accomplish that..

Thanks. I don't know why I didn't think of that. Thanks Again!
