BOM Structure in parent assembly

I have an assembly with a BOM structured like this

Then, in the parent assembly, the BOM is structured differently like this

..

Is there a way to make the BOM in the parent assembly to match the BOM of the basic assembly?

As a side question, why would you want to have two different BOM's for the same assembly which is what I am seeing here?

One is an indented bom (all levels). the other is not.

Its not 2 different boms for the same assembly. Its 2 different boms for 2 different assemblies and one is set to be indented (all levels shown) and the other is not.

In the bom screen hit the "view options" button then select view properties.. There you can set it to first level or all levels (indented)

and some people like to have 1 drawing showing ALL components for a complete assembly and balloon each part.. (including components of subassemblies)..

Others do the one drawing per assembly and only balloon the first level components then do another drawing for the subassemblies and only show its components.
