Hi eveyone,

I'm facing a problem...

In the picture below I have got two subassemblies that are located in a main assembly.

What I want to do is to complete the first part list (modificating the names) and after that save it or something in order to the second part list become with the same names as the first one automaticly. Is that possible? How?

I don't understand the question..

Why are you modifying the names in the parts list at all?

What are you really trying to do?

Hi @mcgyvr

I'm using an old library, and the part number's are not the one's that I intend to have in my BOM.

Even the part that I download from Part COmmunity are not the ones that I want to use in my BOM, so I'm changing it directtly on BOM.

I have 20 subassemblies and every single one has got the same parts, so I don't want to chanve every part number on each BOM. I want to change it only once, and it will update every BOM. The pictures that you see above are just an example.

The thing that I am asking here is possible, because I already made it in a old version, but I completly forget how to do it.

P.S. I don't want to use design assistant.

Are you changing (override) the information in the parts list or are you actually going to the assembly BOM and changing it there?  If the latter and all the parts are the same in the other assemblies, then it will update.  To me it sounds like you are overriding the information in the parts list (annotation) on the drawing.

Hi @Mark.Lancaster and @mcgyvr

I already found what I need due @Mark.Lancaster opinion.

I need to change directly in assembly BOM and it will update every BOM that I got in assembly.

Thanks a lot.
