I read your question two ways.

  1. Is the CAD model of the #3 Wide washer correct?  Does it match the ANSI specification, and do the Content Center files need to be updated?
  2. Why does the Bolted Connection Tool default to a Wide Washer, rather than a Regular or Narrow one?  How does the User change between each style of washer?

Which question are you trying to ask?

I am sorry

I thought the green lines are the preview of washer size that i am going to place.

but actually when i measure the actual washer size that matched the size that i chose.

I misunderstood the green line for actual washer size.

problem solved.

thank you.

PS, it defaulting to the large washer drives me nuts. I have all my presets to narrow type A and have to modify every **** time I place a bolted connection. Can't imagine the hours wasted doing this over the years.
