Just a question that you might be able to help with. I noticed while reading the 2025.1 release notes there was "access iproperties from the parts list" I'm just curious if I have to do anything special to have that option pop up. When I look at the release notes, that would be very helpful to my workflow however when I'm right clicking the parts list I'm hot having the iproperties option show up. Just curious if I'm missing something here?

Hello @Scottyos,

The only thing "special" that you need to do is ensure your cursor is placed directly over the row or text within the parts list. Likewise the iProperties access is available when editing the Parts List as well.  More info is available here and here.

Thanks for that! The first times I was looking at it, it wasn't there. but when I looked again late yesterday it was there. I was thinking it shouldn't be this tough, but thanks for the response!

Hey there,

What's the best solution for making an automatic generated part list?

I want to define the things which should be in the part list before in the part / asssembly properties and then join them all together in the part list. Also for content center files.

Does anyone know a solution??

Just did the 2025.2 update, and now data standards will not start. powershell error referencing $breadcrumb.ps1:84 char.5

Anyone have any ideas on this. Never had data standard errors on otherdot updates.

ANYONE? with not being able to uninstall the 2025.2 update this has really put a dent in our workflow now.

Anyone from the Data Standard group have any ideas?

Hi Robert,

I am not aware of this issue. Is this Inventor 2025.2 update or Vault 2025.2 update? If Inventor 2025.2 is uninstalled, does Data Standard work?

Many thanks!

I should be clear, had Data Standard installed and working on 2025 / 2025.1 and same for vault. Did the Inventor 2025.2 upgrade today and now data standard will not start in inventor, Vault with 2025.2 & Data Standard Seems to be fine. No way to uninstall Inventor 2025.2 that know of is there? I thought  windows has removed the ability to do that. Dont want to do a full Inventor reload if at all possible.

Please repost this in the Vault forums as you're more likely to get help there. Also, please clarify in your post if you also installed the most recent Vault update or only Inventor 2025.2.

You "can" uninstall these updates but on win11 you need to use the command line, as Microsoft removed the ability to uninstall product updates from Add/Remove programs. For further info around that see https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/installation-licensing/windows-11-doesn-t-show-installed-updates-othe...

The command line (Run as administrator) to uninstall Inventor 2025.2 (build 293) should be :

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AdODIS\V1\Installer.exe" -i uninstall --trigger_point system -m "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ODIS\metadata\{C275CFC9-BDCC-3330-92D0-452F45E92B6A}\bundleManifest.xml" -x "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ODIS\metadata\{C275CFC9-BDCC-3330-92D0-452F45E92B6A}\SetupRes\manifest.xsd"

Hope this helps,
Chris

Hi there

I was about to update my Inventor from 2025.1.2 to 2025.2.

I'm having to do this by looking for the update on the online Product Updates page on my account log in as the update for 2025.2 is refusing to show on my Autodesk Access program on my machine and having been checking often over the last few weeks.

However I now see that on the Product Updates page online, it is only the 2025.2.1 update that is now available.

Will this cause any issues if I download this update and update my Inventor from 2025.1.2 straight to 2025.1.2?

Will that miss any updates I should have got with the 2025.2 update?

Many thanks indeed.

Hi Oliver,

A few years ago, Inventor updates become all inclusive. This means there is no need to have any prior updates installed. You can install the latest update on top of any build of more recent releases (2025, 2024. and 2023.3?). And you will get all the current update and prior updates.

Many thanks!

Hi Kadhar,

Have you installed 2025.2.1 update? Please start a new thread describing the issue in more detail. Does it happen randomly or you can reproduce it persistently? Send me an email (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com). I would like to understand the issue better.
