Autodesk Inventor 2017; Text in Option Boxes Grayed out

When I open the options dialog box in Inventor 2017 they appear grayed out. I makes it very difficult to read. Also the menu picks on the left side of the model are also grayed out. How can if fix this?

This sounds like a graphics issue. Did you restart Inventor?

Hi! I could be wrong but I vaguely remember we had a bug like this in 2017. Have you applied all the updates? 2017.4 and 2017.4.5?

I have installed all of Inventor 2019 updates and the problem of being unable to read the text in the options dialog box is still a problem.

Hi! Without seeing an image, it is hard to tell the exact behavior. Please make sure all critical Windows updates are installed and 2019.4 update is installed (followed by 2019.4.9 or the latest update).

It is also possible related to the DPI setting on your machine. Please go to Windows Display option and change the screen resolution and scaling.
