Auto-expand browser.... @#$%

Looking for some support on removing the auto-expand feature in the browser when the mouse is over the icon. Since IV selects the way it does, i live with my mouse over the browser (for the most part) - this means that the freakin parts in the browser are opening all over the place and when i go to click on the part i want, its off the freakin screen now!!!!
Does anyone use this feature or can Adesk remove it and fill it with something a bit more usefull.. perhaps scrolling capabilities while over the browser??? No... that would make too much sense.

Yep, I just tried it and it expands. I have never even noticed that, I
agree. The more options, the better, provided that it is published how to
turn on and off the features.

Now wait, I like "auto expand". Couldn't you just move the hot spot
to the plus sign and add a timer (aka, Select Other). And I would love
to be able to export the browser (current state) to txt or fully
expanded to excel (aka, Gary McMaster's "export assy tree" for mdt).

we all thought it'd be cool, so it got added. I checked this afternoon
to see if we made the delay variable or accessible (or tied it to a
registry setting).

where you do a FIND OTHER HALF and the other half is halfway across the
galaxy.

might allow me to "zoom out" so that initially the text got smaller (say
decrementing my point size or something) until "leaf node" parts
"disappeared" and you were left looking a subassemblies, etc... Sort of
a "level of detail" behavior for the browser.

Doesn't Charles Assembly Bom Extractor do close to the same thing as Gary's program?

I think? so. But I'm really more concerned with full browser detail,
rather than just BOM type info. More as a modelling documentation and
analasys tool than a parts list type tool.
