Assembly component colours in drawing

Hi

I am struggling to get the correct colors to show in an inventor dwg. Say I have an assembly made up of different parts of all different colours. When I create a 2D drawing from the assembly all the parts automatically appear on the same layer and are therefore all the same colour which is generally black. I want to achieve a 2D line drawing but have all the parts show in their own colour without having to manually select individual lines then move them onto different layers to achieve this. I don't want a shaded view just a line drawing but the lines to be the same colour as the parts they illustrate.

For mall assemblies you can use VB or ilogic but for large assemblies that's not fesiable and you might need to look into setting up layers.
