Hi

Please see attached 2019 file

On the left/right side of the part [short side - top to bottom] the distance is 17mm. How do i make the distance 8mm instead of 17mm for these 2 sides but still have the top and bottom long sides still at 17mm?

I would suggest turning off "Autoproject edges for sketch creation and edit in you Application Options and then simply sketch a two point rectangle and dimension it from the edges as you desire.  Model is attached.

Sorry I don`t think i explained myself well here. The sketch-3 i used just to show my question

When i created the sweep path the dimension was 17mm from the outer edge all the way around the part. I was looking for that particular shape from the sweep but a distance of 17mm from the top and bottom edges but only 8mm on the left/right side edges.

Sweep is not probably going to achieve what i wanted but i did this just to try and explain my question

I am away from my computer but would you have a 2018 file i can view
